Basics

  • Clinical Quality (recording): This training covers quality screens including Quality Measures, Population Explorer, Care Gaps, Visit Planning and risk models.
  • Operations (recording): This training covers Visit Calendar, Productivity, the Patient Screen, and Panel Explorer, Report Builder, Dashboards, and Finance.
  • Introduction to Data Explorer (slides|recording): This training introduces Data Explorer, a tool for building both simple and complex reports without writing SQL. Recorded on 5/9/2022. For a deeper overview, see the Data Explorer documentation.
  • Configuration (recording): This training covers logging in and adding user accounts, Provider Targets and Panel Targets, Validation Tools in Relevant, Mailing Lists, and Usage Data. It’s most useful for Relevant project leads and other Relevant administrators.
  • Implementing Single Sign-On (slides|recording): This webinar introduces SSO integration with Microsoft Entra, including a Q&A covering technical details. It’s most useful for Relevant project teams and health center IT teams. Recorded on July 31, 2024.
  • Exploring Relevant data without writing code (slides|recording): This training covers Relevant tools that allow users to answer analytical questions without writing any SQL code. It focuses on Data Explorer, Population Explorer, Visit Calendar, and Panel Explorer.
  • Reporting I (slides|recording): This training covers general SQL basics such as database structure, select queries, primary and foreign keys, and joins. It also covers Relevant-specific report writing tips.

  • Creating Reports and Dashboards (recording): This training covers how to create custom reports and dashboards, including an introduction to new feature we introduced in March 2022 called Data Grid. For more detail on how Data Grid report views work and when to use them, see the Data Grid documentation.

  • Customizing Visit Planning and Quality Screens (recording): This training covers how to customize visit planning and quality screens in Relevant, including how to build Care Gaps, Populations, and Measures. It will be most useful for quality, informatics, and analytics team members.

  • Data Pipeline Upgrades and Training (slides|recording): This training introduces a major upgrade to the data pipeline that powers Relevant. In this session, we review how the pipeline works, introduce the new features, and discuss the changes. Recorded on 10/7/2021.

For experienced SQL writers

  • Reporting II (slides|recording): This training builds on Reporting I (above) to introduce more complex topics in SQL and in Relevant report writing.

For California Health Centers

  • HCAI/OSHPD Reports in Relevant (recording): This training reviews how to use Relevant for reporting utilization to HCAI.

UDS and UDS+ 2024

  • Relevant’s UDS+ Presentation at NACHC Testing Forum (slides|recording)This is the best webinar for an overview of Relevant’s UDS+ functionality. The recording is provided by NACHC; Relevant’s presentation begins at 1:16:00. Record May 2023.

  • Troubleshooting UDS Issues (slides|recording): Topics include UDS library reports, drill-thru details, and mapping questions.
  • Focus on Tricky UDS Tables (slides|recording): Topics include Table 4 payer mapping, splitting providers onto multiple lines for Table 5, and accounting for unbilled services on Table 6A.
  • Submitting UDS+ with Relevant (slides|recording): Interested in submitting UDS+ with Relevant for 2023? This webinar provides an overview of UDS+ and the submission process in Relevant, as well as how to prepare. Recorded December 2023.
